Studio 327 Draft
Studio 327 is a stylist that specializes in color and natural hair services. She wanted a luxurious looking logo that would stand out while remaining neutral. This draft used a handwritten style font accompanied by the numbers “327.” The client liked the idea of having contrasting fonts however she was looking for something a little more relaxed and with a just a touch of drama.
Final for Studio 327
In this draft we removed the circle and decided to use a font that better represented the Stylists’ persona. We decided to keep the original font for the numbers “327” because we felt that the serif provided a good balance to off set the script in the word “Studio”. This project was done in Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and the Procreate app for the iPad.

Brainstorming sketches for Emerald Events
Early stages for Emerald Events
Emerald Events is a company that specializes in creating memories and bringing luxury decor to events and occasions. The owners wanted a minimalistic logo that translated elegance and luxury to potential clients.
In the brainstorming process, I focused on the best ways in which we could highlight the name visually. As well as how we could enhance the main logo while still being minimalistic.
This draft did not make it to the final. The gold detail took away from the minimalistic look we were going for and the black outline was too intense and took away from the elegance.
